Pale golden hue. The aroma is reminiscent of hay in an orchard, with developing apple notes as it warms. The palate is sweet, with stewed apples and pears in cinnamon and brown sugar, leading to a finish of fresh cracked black pepper with a chili spice. This whiskey is delicious! I'm usually hesitant about light-colored whiskies with hay-like aromas, but this one is exceptionally tasty!
