Evandro Weber manages Weber Haus. He's a descendant of German immigrants who settled in Ivoti, Rio Grande do Sul. His great-grandparents purchased land there, cultivating cassava and sugarcane, and producing flour. The family started making cachaça in 1848 for their own use. The still was constructed in 1948, and production methods were updated over time. The business has been passed down through generations. This family cohesion has helped the enterprise endure. The Weber Haus agro-industry boasts over 35 national and international accolades, making it the most awarded cachaça in Brazil. They also offer liqueurs, grape juices, and brown sugar. The Weber Haus Premium 7 Madeiras Cachaça 750ml is a blend aged in seven wood types found at the Weber Haus distillery. Aged for two years in French and American oak, balsam, amburana, cabriúva, grápia, and sassafras cinnamon barrels, it has a 38% alcohol content. This wood combination results in a slightly drier spirit, with palate notes of white chocolate, spices, and a mild heat. Found via Cachaçaria Nacional.
