Following distillation, it is aged for 36 months in French oak and Brazilian balsam barrels. A subsequent blending process imparts a striking flavor profile with fruit and woody notes. Color: Golden yellow. Aroma: Sugarcane, woody notes, vanilla, and a hint of fennel. Taste: Full-bodied, smooth, with low acidity and a balanced flavor. Confirms the sugarcane taste on the palate. Cachaças Vila do Ouro is produced in Pitangui, Minas Gerais, a region renowned for traditional cachaça production. The name honors the city, once the seventh "Vila do Ouro" in Minas Gerais. It's made from select sugarcane varieties, harvested and processed sustainably at the Alambique Santíssima following strict quality standards. The sugarcane juice is naturally fermented without accelerators or additives. Artisanal distillation employs an ancestral technique, ensuring flavor and quality. Only the "heart" of the distillate is used for aging and bottling. It's worth noting that another cachaça named "Villa Ouro" from a different city (Jequeri, Minas Gerais) shares a very similar name and label.
