Produced at Middle West Spirits in Columbus, Ohio, this vodka uses OYO American Character Vodka as its foundation, which is crafted from locally sourced soft red wheat. For this specific bottling, local wildflower honey and single-origin, fair-trade, organic vanilla beans are incorporated for flavor. It is bottled unfiltered at 80 proof and is Kosher.

The aroma is reminiscent of cherry cough syrup. The sherry cask influence is very apparent. Palate: A bit young and thin. It leaves very long legs in the glass. Finish: A touch of alcohol comes through, but some pleasant warming spices and a hint of chocolate conclude it. An interesting pour, and overall a better cask-finished bourbon than many, but I won't be purchasing it again unless they can age it longer.
