Vale da Canastra cachaça is grown in the fertile soils of the Serra da Canastra region, where the São Francisco River originates in the state of Minas Gerais. This location combines the unique characteristics of the terroir (climate, soil, and geographic position), which contribute to its production. Distillation is performed in an artisanal copper still, followed by charcoal filtration. It is then rested in tanks or stored and aged in wooden barrels, adhering to strict quality standards, resulting in an artisanal beverage with a smooth and light aroma and flavor, good alcohol integration, and a sensorially pleasing profile. This Cachaça Ouro has been aged in Oak barrels, imparting woody notes. Vale da Canastra distillery was established in 2009. Source: Cachaça Vale da Canastra.
