CACHAÇA TONEL DE MINAS CLÁSSICA CARVALHO

This cachaça originated in 1985 from a small artisan still on the "Casa Nova" farm, owned by our founder, Mr. Gláucio Augusto de Souza, situated in the rural part of Lavras, south of Minas Gerais. The distillery was upgraded to boost production. In 2011, André Luís Chalfoun de Souza, Mr. Gláucio Augusto's son, started the brand registration for "Tonel de Minas," the name associated with the cachaça since its inception. The following year, his son took the helm, continuing his father's legacy. The farm's own fields yield the highest quality and most profitable sugar cane. Tonel de Minas currently produces using two copper stills in a well-equipped, modern facility. Cachaças are available as Relíquia, Gold, and Silver. Cachaça Clássica, with 38% ABV, is made entirely by hand. Its smooth character and unmatched taste are achieved through storage and aging in oak barrels, though the producer didn't specify the aging duration in oak. Source: Tonel de Minas website.
