Cachaça Tiê originates from Aiuruoca, in southern Minas Gerais, near the Circuito das Águas. It's part of the Terras Altas da Mantiqueira Circuit, Serra do Papagaio, and Serra da Mantiqueira State Park, recognized as a top ecotourism destination with a rich history of artisanal cachaça production. Its artisanal creation blends traditional techniques with essential quality manufacturing practices for a high-quality product, featuring a delicate floral taste and scent. From sugarcane cultivation to bottling, Cachaça Tiê undergoes strict quality checks. The sugarcane is harvested by hand, avoiding fire to prevent unwanted elements during fermentation, which occurs in stainless steel tanks with specialized yeast for a set duration. The resulting fermented must is then distilled in a copper still. Only the heart of the distillate is kept in stainless steel and oak barrels, becoming Tiê Ouro or Tiê Prata. Cachaça Tiê Prata 670ml is aged in stainless steel barrels. Produced in a copper still adhering to Minas Gerais' finest traditions, it retains the sweet flavors and aromas of sugarcane, with a pleasant spicy finish. It's excellent neat and ideal for various drinks and cocktails. With a robust 42% alcohol content. The name Tiê honors a bird symbolizing the Atlantic Forest, renowned globally for its stunning red plumage. Source: Cachaçaria Nacional.
