Engenho Buriti is situated in Papagaios, in the central-western region of Minas Gerais State. Located at Fazenda Pontinha, it began with Mr. Eros Vieira's ambition to produce high-quality Cachaça, preserving its traditional essence while integrating modern production methods and quality control. It rivals the world's finest spirits. The project commenced in 2008, and from the outset, this Cachaça has captivated discerning palates with its distinct characteristics, full-bodied flavor, and exceptional quality. Since then, Engenho has garnered numerous awards across all its product lines, each bearing the mark of master blender Armando Del Bianco. I can identify Engenho Buriti cachaças globally due to their unique, delicious, and unmistakable flavor. "Armando Del Bianco". This spirit has been aged for two years in oak barrels. It is integrated and has an alcohol content of 42%. The name of the spirit honors the Caraça Sanctuary, near the towns of Catas Altas and Santa Bárbara in the Serra do Espinhaço, a place the producer, Thales de Paiva, has frequented since childhood. This batch of cachaça has an alcohol content of 40%, down from 42% in a prior review. The bottle's label design is also silly, as the current label differs completely from the previous one. Cachaça Santuário de Minas comes from Jequitibá, Minas Gerais, and is crafted with select sugarcane, carefully ground and filtered. It undergoes natural fermentation using cornmeal, with meticulous attention to sugar concentration. Distillation in a copper still ensures precise fraction separation and product standardization. Cachaça Santuário de Minas Ouro 700ml, with 40% alcohol, is aged two years in oak barrels. Its name honors the Santuário do Caraça, a place near Catas Altas and Santa Bárbara that the producer has frequented since childhood.
