Cachaça Sagrada is crafted in Bom Jesus do Amparo, Minas Gerais. In the local dialect of Minas Gerais, there's a common phrase, "to eat praying," used to describe foods that bring the palate to pure bliss. When the founders of the distillery decided to create their own cachaça, they aimed for a spirit that embodied this feeling. A true journey began, involving research, finding a location near prime sugarcane fields, constructing ideal facilities for producing premium spirits, and hiring skilled professionals for crushing, distillation, and fermentation. These standards were maintained under rigorous quality and hygiene controls, adhering to legal requirements. Cachaça Sagrada Carvalho e Amburana Herança 700ml is a blended spirit. It is matured in oak and amburana barrels and has an alcohol content of 40%. It possesses a lighter flavor and the delightful scent of oak, a traditional wood for storing and aging distilled beverages. Its name references the old, almost sacred practice of drinking a measure of cachaça. It also honors the town where the spirit is made and its patron saint, Bom Jesus do Amparo. The two producers pledge to strictly follow the recipe to create the finest Craft Cachaça. Source: Cachaçaria Nacional
