This Cachaça is made in the mountains of Caldas da Imperatriz, Santo Amaro da Imperatriz, by the Emperor's mill, adhering to centuries-old traditions for quality cachaças. Its name honors the local dialect of Florianópolis, known as "manezinho da island" or "manezês." This dialect arose from the Portuguese spoken by Azorean and Madeiran immigrants in the mid-18th century, mixed with the somewhat "indigenized" Portuguese of the original inhabitants from São Paulo. This Cachaça Quiridhuz is a distillate of naturally fermented sugarcane juice, aged in noble wood barrels. The organically grown sugarcane variety is selected from the granite mountains near Serra do Tabuleiro. It's the authentic Brazilian Caipirinha cachaça. It's ideal for any drink using fresh fruit, macerated or as juice. It's perfect served neat and chilled, directly from the freezer. It also pairs well with appetizers, fresh cheeses, white meats, and seafood.
