CACHAÇA PROSA MINEIRA OURO CARVALHO

This cachaça comes from the Santa Rita de Caldas area, in southern Minas Gerais. After extensive work, Cachaça Prosa Mineira debuted in 2010, featuring distinct sensory qualities. The entire production, from still to bottling, is manual, with the producer overseeing every detail, including the careful selection of sugarcane. This dedication is evident in the dedicated nursery for seedlings and plantings. Ensuring the sugarcane reaches optimal sugar levels for fermentation, alongside ideal growing conditions, significantly impacts the final spirit. Cachaça Prosa Mineira Ouro Carvalho rests for 24 months in oak casks, imparting subtle woody tones and hints of vanilla and spice. At 39% ABV, this spirit is well-integrated. Its name recalls Brazil's colonial past, when rural workers and drovers would sip cachaça to unwind and find warmth after labor or during cold winters, often accompanied by music and company.
