A special label made for a particular client is called Cachaça Princesa Isabel "Entre Amigos O Porco" (Among Friends The Pig). This edition's name stems from a unique culinary partnership with the O Porco Steakhouse restaurant in Salvador, Bahia. The name is part of the "Entre Amigos" collection from the Princesa Isabel distillery, which creates custom labels for select partners. The "Pig": Directly relates to the restaurant's identity, as it specializes in pork cuts. The establishment features an exclusive cachaça from the Princesa Isabel brand to complement its menu. Etymological Fun Fact: While the label honors the restaurant, it indirectly references the drink's own history. One widely accepted theory suggests the word "cachaça" originates from "cachaço" (male pig), referring to tough meat that was tenderized with the spirit in colonial times. Alcohol content: 40%. Aged for 2 years in wood. Wood type: A mix of cachaças aged in American oak and jackfruit wood barrels. Characteristics: Deep golden yellow hue, aromatic, with notes of dried fruits, caramel, toffee, vanilla, sweet spices, balanced acidity and alcohol, and a rich, medium-long finish.
