In 1988, a person established Cachaça Meia Lua e Lua Azul on the Meia Lua farm in Salinas, Northern Minas Gerais. By the end of 2019, it was rebranded as Meia Lua Destilaria, an ambitious venture that incorporated the Premissa and Unna brands. Today, the distillery is recognized for its high-quality products, a success attributed to diligent work and the pursuit of excellence. Cachaça Meia Lua Bálsamo 1000ml is aged for eighteen months in balsam barrels, a wood native to Brazil. It's light and has a 40% alcohol content, offering a balanced aroma and flavor with spice notes. It pairs excellently with red meat and can be enjoyed neat or in mixed drinks and cocktails. This Cachaça was sampled as part of a pack with five others.
