CACHAÇA MATUTA UMBURANA

Cachaça Matuta is originally from the mountainous Brejo region in Areia/PB. It's produced at Engenho Vaca Brava, a traditional site since 1865, known for its fertile soils and fine candy. The area is a classic cachaça producer in Paraíba State. Cachaça Matuta was stored for 1 year in Umburana barrels and has 39% alcohol. It has woody notes, vanilla, pleasant sweetness, balanced alcohol and acidity, and a medium-long finish. Source: Rei da Cachaça website.

Engenho Vaca Brava has been making this cachaça since 1865 in the mountain area of Brejo, specifically Areia/PB. This area is renowned for its rich soil and excellent candy, and is a historic cachaça-producing region in Paraíba. Matuta rested for twelve months in Umburana casks and is 39% ABV.
