Cachaça Matriarca has been handcrafted for over thirty years at the Cio da Terra farm in southern Bahia, an area known for its fertile massapê soil and notable sugarcane cultivation. Its history is linked to the founder, Adalberto Alves Pinto, known as Beto Pinto. Growing up listening to his mother, Aracy, a skilled farmer who raised her eight children alone, inspired him. In pursuit of ideal flavor, Matriarca crafts its own vats and barrels on-site, allowing for meticulous refinement and innovation, notably being the first to use jackfruit wood. This process highlights the beauty and variety of wood. Cachaça Matriarca Amburana 750ml is aged for two years in amburana barrels, a native Brazilian wood, and has a 42% ABV. The name 'matriarch' is a tribute from Beto Pinto to his mother, Aracy, who successfully raised their large family independently. Provided by Cachaçaria Nacional.
