Despite its well-crafted appearance, this cachaça and its still lack official registration and authorization, operating clandestinely since 1989. The still and an associated restaurant are located in Sabará, Minas Gerais. The still operates in poor conditions, and the production area is neither hygienic nor sanitary. Sensory analysis: transparent color, sweet aromas, chlorinated water, no sugarcane sweetness, medium-low acidity, and a medium-low finish. It appears to be a woodless base where the "head" and "tail" of the distillate were likely combined to minimize production loss.
