Despite its appealing label, this cachaça and its still lack official registration or authorization and have been operating illicitly since 1989. The still and a related restaurant are situated in Sabará, Minas Gerais. The still operates under poor conditions, and the production environment is neither sanitary nor safe. Tasting notes: clear appearance, sweet scent, notes of chlorinated water, absence of sugarcane sweetness, moderate to low acidity, and a moderate to short finish. It's an unaged base where the initial and final distillates are likely combined to minimize production loss; a woody character is detected, possibly from a used barrel.
