For 2023, one of Harmonie Schnaps' releases is this exceptional unaged cachaça, boasting an impressive 48% alcohol by volume (the maximum legal limit for cachaça in Brazil is 48%; higher percentages prevent it from being classified as such). The initial taste is sweet sugarcane, aromatic, with notes of licorice, lemongrass, and a herbal touch, offering pleasant freshness. The alcohol is noticeable but not intrusive, being well-integrated. It possesses acidity, alcohol, sugar, and body, yet the overall profile is balanced, distinctive, and leaves a lingering finish.
