This cachaça originates from a distillery founded in 1960 by a producer in Minas Gerais. Initially, the spirit was transported by donkey to local customers, but its popularity quickly grew, leading to an expansion of the facilities. The brand was officially registered a few years later, and the transport method shifted to a truck. It soon became a popular beverage in the capital. Currently, the distillery is overseen by the founder's successor and produces a significant volume annually between June and October. This particular expression is matured for at least a year in Amburana oak casks. It presents an aromatic profile with notes of cinnamon and wood, while also being refined, well-rounded, and pleasantly sweet. The clear liquid displays a pleasing golden-yellow hue, characteristic of Amburana wood aging. Its bouquet features delightful hints of vanilla, cinnamon, and wood. It has a satisfying mouthfeel, with the alcohol harmonizing well with the Amburana wood essences, spices, and other elements. The tasting experience is complex and rich, with balanced alcohol and acidity, culminating in a lengthy and enduring finish. Provided by Cachaçaria Nacional.
