Flor das Gerais Cachaça originates from the municipality of Felixlândia, located in the central region of Minas Gerais. The distillery's first still was established in the early 20th century by the family's patriarch, who oversaw production until the 1940s, after which one of his three sons took over the craft. Information: It's aged for a minimum of 24 months in Oak (Quercus sp). We began incorporating American and French barrels in 1990, which introduced diverse aromas to our product range, and the cachaça aged in them remains a customer favorite. Color: Appears translucent with a straw-gold tint. Body: Exhibits an intense, moderate yellowish sheen and noticeable oiliness, forming dense, well-defined trails. Aroma: Features a strong presence of spices like cloves and cardamom, followed by a sweet vanilla scent with hints of nuts and ripe banana. It has an intense woody character, low acidity, and balanced alcohol. Taste: Complex and smooth on the palate. It begins with a medium sweetness, highlighting notes of vanilla and molasses, and concludes with a distinct, dry, and lingering woody finish. Acidity and bitterness are low.
