This cachaça from Felixlândia, in Minas Gerais' Central region, originated from a still established in the early 20th century by the family's founder, who managed production until the 1940s. Then, one of his three sons took over. Cachaças aged a minimum of 24 months in Jequitibá-Rosa and Amburana wood, resulting in the 2007 blend crafted by Mr. Adão. This established blend has recently become the benchmark for Flor das Gerais. Appearance: Clear with a yellow hue. Body: Brilliant with a strong golden color. It has moderate to high oiliness, forming dense, distinct tears. Scent: Clear sweetness, reminiscent of vanilla and caramel. It also offers aromas of spices like fennel, cardamom, and hints of chestnuts and coconut. Subtle alcohol presence and very low acidity. Taste: Characteristic of Amburana-aged cachaças, it presents a distinct sweetness evoking caramel and molasses. Similar to the aroma, the taste also reveals notes of chestnuts, fennel, and coconut. A present, lingering finish with moderate acidity. Found on the Flor da Gerais website.

This aged blend has in recent years become a benchmark for Flor das Gerais. Color: Clear, Yellow. Body: Intense sheen, rich gold. Moderate to high oiliness with the formation of dense and distinct tears. Aroma: Well-defined sweetness, varying between vanilla and caramel. It also features an aroma of certain spices like fennel, cardamom, and hints of chestnuts and coconut. Subtle alcohol presence and very low acidity. Palate: As a defining characteristic of cachaças aged in Amburana, it presents a distinct sweetness reminiscent of caramel and molasses.
