The Cachaça Estação da Cana is produced in Juréia, by the Muzambo River in Monte Belo, Minas Gerais. The creators aimed for a distinct, high-quality product representing the area. Júlio César Benjamim, the current proprietor and distiller, studied Brazilian spirits, attended courses, visited distilleries, and learned the production process. He began cultivating the sugarcane for his cachaça in 2015. He chose the name Estação da Cana to honor his family and the town, referencing Juréia's history as a railroad center for over four decades and his family's arrival in 1911, the same year the railroad construction started. Cachaças are distilled in copper stills and aged in barrels using a hearth system. Cachaça Estação da Cana Jatobá is crafted with care, aged in Jatobá barrels for over 2 years, and finished in new 200-liter barrels. With 40% alcohol, this cachaça offers a unique taste, notable for its woody and sweet qualities reminiscent of sugarcane, brown sugar, and honey. Sourced from the Cachaçaria Nacional website
