At Fazenda Pontinha in Papagaios/MG, a family's dream was realized. To produce quality cachaças, preserving the product's traditions while incorporating modern production and quality control. One of Brazil's top distilleries, Engenho Buriti's offerings satisfy the most discerning enthusiasts. In business for 15 years, the company is recognized for its comprehensive line of cachaças. Cachaça Engenho Buriti Ladilá Carvalho 700ml is made to the highest quality standards, starting with selective sugar cane harvesting, grinding, and filtering the juice. Fermentation uses wild yeast native to the region with only sugar cane as the base. Distillation occurs in copper stills, slow and fractional, focusing only on the heart. It's aged in American and French Oak barrels for 18 months before blending and bottling. It contains 40% alcohol. Ladilá! It's part of the Engenho Buriti Mineirities Collection, created to honor the people of Minas Gerais, embodying the tradition and history of quality and award-winning products from Engenho. "On the other side" in Minas dialect becomes "Ladilá." The palate confirms the flavor of Carbou Caru root, with notes of chestnut and coconut, typical of French Oak barrels. It's ideal enjoyed neat or with chocolates and red meat. Source: Cachaçaria Nacional website.
