Born from the dreams of a family at the Pontinha farm in Papagaios/MG, this producer crafts fine cachaças with a blend of tradition and modern methods. Recognized as one of Brazil's top distilleries, their spirits satisfy discerning palates. With 15 years in the market, they offer a comprehensive range. This particular cachaça involves careful sugarcane selection, pressing, and filtering. It ferments using native yeasts and solely sugarcane. Distilled slowly and fractionally in copper stills to isolate the heart, it's then aged 18 months in American and French Oak before blending. It's bottled at 40% ABV. The "Cêbesta" line, part of the Mineirities Collection, honors the people of Minas Gerais. This Carvalho e Ambura expression merges Amburana, Brazil's native wood, with a touch of French and American Oak. The 18-month aging in Amburana and Carvalhos creates a complex and delicious mix. Notes of chestnut and coconut from the Oak meet cinnamon, fruits, and spices from Amburana for a distinct experience. Best enjoyed neat, paired with meat and cheese. It's also 40% ABV. "Cêbesta!" signifies a local expression used to tell someone to stop being foolish or dismissive.
