Engenho Dom Tápparo was established at the suggestion of Mr. José Tápparo, who in 1978 decided to produce cachaça solely for his personal enjoyment and as gifts for companions. The beverage was so well-received that enthusiasts began seeking to purchase it. This led him to recognize a business opportunity in this venture. Over the years, with the involvement of his sons Ademílson and Carlos, the operation expanded and started producing various types of cachaça, alcoholic beverages, and liqueurs. Currently, the company benefits from the participation of the third generation of the Tápparo family: Bruno, Giovanni, Breno, Marcus, Fernando, and Carla. All cachaça production occurs on the family's land, from the cultivation of sugarcane to the milling and distillation processes. Aging takes place in European and American oak barrels, along with other woods such as amburana and peanut. Cachaça Dom Tápparo Premium 3 years European Oak has a 38% alcohol content. It is distilled and aged for 3 years in European Oak barrels. This caramel-colored cachaça has a pleasant taste with low acidity, making it very smooth to drink.
