This cachaça originated in 1850 at Fazenda São Luiz in Leme do Prado, Jequitinhonha Valley, North of Minas Gerais, a region renowned for its exceptional cachaças. In that year, Captain Barroso started crafting a premium cachaça, later named Dama da Noite by his grandson, Geraldo Barroso. The name honors a flower known for its delightful evening fragrance. The Barroso family's dedication to cachaça and quality drives their continuous pursuit of improving this uniquely flavored spirit. Dama da Noite Bálsamo 700ml is aged for two years in Bálsamo barrels. It has a light profile, with well-integrated alcohol that belies its 44% ABV. Floral and herbal notes, along with fennel, are present, and the acidity and sweetness are well-balanced, leading to a medium-long finish. Sourced from Cachaçaria Nacional.
