Fazenda da Quinta is where Cachaça da Quinta is made, located in Carmo within Rio de Janeiro's mountains. Francisco Lourenço Alves, who came from Portugal, bought the farm in 1923 and implemented several new safety measures for the existing Cachaça da Quinta production. His son, José Ramos Alves, continued to enhance the spirit, preserving the original crafting method and the distinct fermentation technique. Later, he passed the estate and all the specifics of the Artisanal Cachaças to his daughter, Katia Alves Espírito Santo. She then spearheaded major upgrades to the factory, the brand's visual appearance and packaging, and the product range, elevating them to top international quality levels. In 2009, Fazenda da Quinta started exporting its goods to discerning markets like the United States, Taiwan, England, and France. Cachaça da Quinta Prata is aged for six months in stainless steel containers. It's strong, with 42% alcohol. The scent is refined, potent, and lingers. It hints at sugarcane juice with fruity undertones. The taste is balanced, smooth, and powerful. A fruity finish with overall harmony. Quinta is the term Portuguese people use for rural estates with a house. In viticulture, they are known as vineyards or wine estates in the primary Portuguese regions. From Cachaçaria Nacional
