CACHAÇA DA QUINTA CARVALHO

Made at Fazenda da Quinta in Carmo, Rio de Janeiro's mountains, Cachaça da Quinta's history began with a Portuguese immigrant who bought the farm in 1923 and added safeguards to its Cachaça production. His son further refined the spirit, preserving the original techniques and unique fermentation. He then passed the property and artisanal Cachaça knowledge to his daughter, who upgraded the factory, branding, and product line to world-class levels. In 2009, Fazenda da Quinta started exporting to discerning markets like the US, Taiwan, England, and France. Cachaça da Quinta Carvalho, aged one year in oak, is a light spirit at 40% ABV. Its aroma is delicate, strong, and lasting, featuring notes of fruit, spice, wood, and caramel. The taste is light, even, and mellow, finishing dry with touches of oak and mature fruit.
