Since 1975, this distillery in Piranga, Minas Gerais, has been crafting artisanal cachaça using a copper still. The soil's characteristics contribute to the sugarcane cultivation, producing high-quality cachaça. This particular cachaça is a blend of spirits aged for 8 years in both French and American oak barrels. It's a fuller-bodied, aged spirit with a strong woody aroma, complemented by hints of vanilla, spices, almonds, and tobacco. Its deep caramel hue comes from extended aging in new oak barrels, giving it a striking yet smooth flavor reminiscent of fine whiskey. Spirit enthusiasts will find a depth of flavor in this cachaça that surpasses their preferred whiskey.
