Cachaça Casa Petro is produced in a still situated in Balneário Piçarras, on the coast of Santa Catarina. This cachaça is derived from sugarcane juice, continuing a family legacy that began in the 40s and spans multiple generations, tied to the traditions of Santa Catarina. In 2018, Casa Petro Alambique was founded by the Petters and Romani Families. It is a modern still with a fine structure, equipped with cutting-edge technology. This Alembic was specially built to welcome enthusiasts, fostering engagement from production to tasting. Cachaça Prata, also known as Cachaça Branca or Cachaça Tradicional, is a type of cachaça that is not aged in wooden barrels, distinguishing it from gold or yellow cachaça. Its primary feature is its clarity, maintaining a crystal-clear color without any aging-related hue change. Handcrafted Prata cachaça typically exhibits unique qualities. It may possess a mild, sometimes sweet flavor, with herbaceous, floral, or fruity undertones, varying by production region, sugarcane variety, and fermentation and distillation techniques. As an unaged Cachaça, without wood maturation, Prata is frequently used in mixed drinks, such as caipirinha, because it blends well with other ingredients, providing a clean and fresh foundation. Our Cachaça Prata Casa Petro received a SILVER medal in Brussels, Belgium, at the SPIRITS SELECTION competition in 2021.
