CACHAÇA BUTECO DO JAY AMBURANA BY CACHAÇARIA NACIONAL

This establishment originated in 2015. Its proprietor transformed his apartment's living room into a bar for entertaining companions. The place, known as “Buteco do Jay”, became a regular hangout. In April 2019, a video titled “Torresmo e Cachaça” was uploaded to the Cachaçaria Nacional YouTube channel, a collaboration between the proprietor and the founders of Cachaçaria Nacional, a major online retailer for cachaça. The proprietor became a significant advocate for Cachaça in the United States. In mid-2018, responding to numerous requests from followers and friends, Cachaça Buteco do Jay was introduced. Two highly knowledgeable individuals in artisanal Cachaça, Marcos Paolinelli and Rafael Araújo, created the blend that would be named “Cachaça Buteco do Jay”. The cachaça is made in Ivoti, Rio Grande do Sul, by the well-regarded Weber Haus distillery. Cachaça Buteco do Jay Amburana is aged in Amburana barrels, a unique Brazilian wood that imparts woody notes, spices, and honey, leading to a prolonged finish.
