It is known for being light, smooth, with a straw-yellow color and a sweet, woody aroma reminiscent of Brazil nut. It has an alcohol content of 40%. The Castanheira wood imparts a gentle flavor and woody characteristics. Origin: Lavras / Minas Gerais. Alcohol content: 40% vol. Presentation: Frequently found in 700ml (ceramic) bottles and in sets with other wood types like oak and jequitibá. Source: Cachaça Bocaina website.
