The origin of Bem me Quer dates back over thirty years to the Santo Antônio das Pitangueiras Farm in Pitangui, Minas Gerais. The farm's main house, constructed in 1715, was fully renovated by the brand's owners, José Otávio de Carvalho Lopes and Rosana Romano. The farm included a recreational space with a small, antique still. Approximately six liters of Cachaça were produced for each family gathering, and it was highly popular. This Cachaça, named Romana, became a standard at celebrations and was eventually shared with friends. Consequently, demand grew, and the small, old still could no longer meet production needs. An Alambique Santíssima was then built, producing two distinct brands: Cachaça Santa Romana and Cachaça Bem me Quer. The beverages are of exceptional quality and delicious taste, with both initially targeted at the international market. Currently, they are successful globally and in the challenging domestic market. Cachaça Bem me Quer Amburana matures for two years in Amburana barrels, a type of Brazilian wood. It is aromatic, woody, with notes of cinnamon and spice, and has an alcohol content of 40%.
