Over twenty years ago, Eduardo Dutra conceived the idea for his own distillery after viewing a report on small producers on Globo Rural. Following extensive study and experimentation, he began producing cachaça, initially without a name, which was well-received by friends and family. By 2000, this hobby evolved into his profession. After considering various names, Eduardo settled on Barrosinha, which has since become synonymous with quality and success for the Dutra family. Eduardo witnessed Barrosinha gain national and international recognition, earning affection from many patrons. Barrosinha's gold and silver cachaças are prominent in both Brazilian and global markets. The Barrosinha brand is widely recognized in Brazil, particularly in the Vertentes region, and has received the 'Certificate of Origin and Quality' seal from ANPAC. Cachaça Barrosinha Ouro 700ml is handmade in Barroso, Minas Gerais. This 42% ABV spirit is aged for two years in French oak barrels. It offers a balanced palate where the alcohol complements the aroma and taste, providing a velvety, smooth, round, and refreshing experience. It's perfect for traditional caipirinhas and other cocktails, and can also be used in cooking. Sourced from Cachaçaria Nacional.
