CACHAÇA AVIADOR PRATA

This cachaça earned a gold medal at the 2021 Brazilian Wines and Spirits competition and was named best in the 2022 London Competitions, also with a gold medal. The producers have been cultivating sugar cane since around 1850 in Serra da Ibiapaba, Ceará, being leaders in crafting organic artisanal cachaça and sustainable practices. Cachaça Aviador's production stands out due to its blend of expertise in every stage, from farming to bottling, with the gentle climate and rich soil of Viçosa do Ceará. The sugar cane is cultivated organically and harvested by hand, ensuring a superior final product. In April 2024, the Brazilian government officially recognized Viçosa do Ceará as a Geographical Indication (GI) for cachaça production, specifically an Indication of Origin (IP). This region now ranks among Brazil's most renowned cachaça areas, alongside Salinas, Paraty, Abaíra, Morretes, and Luiz Alves. Tasting notes: clear appearance, notes of sugar cane, herbaceous qualities, fruitiness, a nice sweetness, noticeable alcohol, and a medium aftertaste.
