CACHAÇA ARMAZEM VIEIRA SAFIRA

Crafted on Santa Catarina island in southern Brazil, Cachaças Armazem Vieira's history dates back to the 19th century. The 1840 construction of the maritime warehouse at Saco dos Limões bay was key for local trade. This warehouse also provisioned large international sailing vessels with goods like water, coffee, cassava flour, sugar, meat, vegetables, nautical supplies, ship masts, and the crucial cachaça. In 1983, Wolfgang Schrader and Renato Grasso Bollo purchased the historic Armazem Vieira. Intrigued by the distillate's production heritage, they embarked on their own venture, aiming to create premium Craft Cachaças for the global market. Production commenced in 1985, alongside the opening of a promotional bar bearing the same name within the historic Armazem Vieira structure. Cachaça Armazem Vieira Safira 670ml ages for three years in ariribá and grápia casks. It is a light spirit at 40% ABV, ideal for caipirinhas and cocktails. The grapia wood's influence is noticeable, its sharp essence mingling with the distillate's congeners. Upon tasting, one experiences a light cachaça with notes of brown sugar.
