Ronny Brady 3.5

A light peat scent, with rich notes of apple juice, rye bread, and spice like chili and black pepper. The taste brings damp peat, a meaty quality, sweetness, maple syrup, and dark spices. The finish is long with smoke, black pepper, chili, sweet vanilla, and burnt wood. A pleasant, easily drinkable, sweet, peaty, and woody whiskey. The combination of US rye blends with an ex-sherry cask, refilled with peated scotch before maturing this spirit, offers a lovely, layered complexity. Great!

Carey Workman 2.0

It has a smoky aroma and taste. I'm not a fan of smoky or peaty flavors. There are sweet notes on the tongue. It's not as bad as some of the Scottish varieties I've encountered previously.

Kenneth Arenas 1.0

Rye whisky with notes of burnt ends. It's spicy, mild, with a damp mold character. The oak imparts a bland, sour sweetness with raisins. Oak presence is noted. Score: 1

Luka Hicks 3.8

Pleasant lightly peated flavor with a good amount of heat.

Chandra Calvillo 1.5

Tastes like a campfire log. Overly smoky.

Emiliano Mcmullen 2.5

Smoke and embers.
