Nose: Floral, herbaceous, sweet (honey & granulated sugar, caramel). Palate: Sweet, honey, dark toffee, grainy, notes of leather and oak/wood, dark malt loaf. A velvety smooth and soft mouthfeel. Finish: Oily & viscous finish. Banana bread / Soreen malt loaf, rum & raisin cake. A little hot/sharp on the aftertaste. Visually very light, but concentrated on the palate. Lots of dark bourbon characteristics. Grainy and malty with a velvety smooth finish. Clearly influenced by an ex-bourbon cask, but has a surprisingly dark sherry note on the palate. Ranked 4th out of the six samples, receiving 13% of the final vote for favorite of the night. 59% of those present enjoyed the whisky.

Caramel, honey-like, not too peaty.
