The standard single malt from this distillery is an excellent whisky on its own. This expression elevates it significantly. The ABV is close to 59%, and the extended aging in cognac casks adds a wonderfully rich, buttery quality that complements the original's cola notes. This was a limited release, making it harder to find, even within its home state. It's definitely worth the effort to seek out! This distillery is a prime example of why the Pacific Northwest is recognized for its craft whiskys.
