This provides a similar complex experience, featuring caramel, vanilla, and Christmas spices. Underlying nutty and orchard aromas complement the caramel-rich, spice-infused palate, along with oak characteristics. The mouthfeel was so smooth, I didn't think about ice. As an artisanal whiskey, it stands its ground.

Smooth taste with a hint of alcohol aroma. Warm baking spices, vanilla, and sweet custard are detected. Some rye contributes to round out the experience. Enjoyable on its own or served over ice.

Feels light on the palate.
