About this bottle
Portland-based House Spirits, a decade-long participant in the craft spirits industry, is recognized for Aviation Gin and Westward Whiskey but also produces aquavit, vodka, and rum. The Bridgetown Rum represents a partnership with Seattle bartender Erik Carlson, aiming to create a versatile mixing rum incorporating influences from Jamaican, Barbados, and Martinique styles. It is twice distilled in pot-stills and aged for three to six months in American oak barrels previously used for whiskey, alongside new-char oak.
