Brickway American Single Malt Whisky

I really enjoy whiskey. I'm also on the autism spectrum, and usually, food and drinks don't pose an issue for me. However, with spirits, especially whiskey, the burn or its absence is a problem. I can't drink Maker's Mark because it tastes like acetone overpowering any other notes, so when I saw this bottle from my hometown, I decided to give it a shot. This spirit is amazing. It's so smooth it makes professional weavers look clumsy. The nose presented oak and a general sweetness, almost like maple syrup (I'm not great at identifying scents). The palate was also sweet, but instead of a general sweetness, I detected toffee and a bit of caramel with oak. The finish offered pleasant coffee and oak notes. They downplay on the label how exceptionally smooth this is. It could easily charm someone over text. I can drink it neat without any mixers and without wincing. If someone on the autism spectrum can drink it neat without flinching, then anyone can, in my opinion. Five stars to Brickway, you've gained a loyal customer. Cheers!

This American single malt has a very sweet and nutty aroma with some caramel notes. The palate is oily and rich, featuring sweetness and a hint of salt. The barley imparts some bourbon-like qualities from the virgin barrels. The finish is very smooth with a slight warmth.

This is quite intriguing. It's my first experience with a single malt that isn't Scotch. It's truly delicious! Maple syrup is evident on the nose, and the palate is smooth, featuring notes of apple and vanilla.

Oak, toasted cereal, and a hint of vanilla on the nose. The body is full and rich with a sweet malty flavor. It's a bit strong initially but smooths out with a little cold water. A good whiskey.

Remarkable. Unlike anything I have previously experienced. Starts very fruity with notes of cherries, finishing with citrus.
