Bowsaw Small Batch is a pleasant, yet slightly too sweet corn whiskey. I'm surprised by the low number of reviews for this quite good bourbon. The aroma is a bit unusual, definitely many sweet notes of vanilla, toffee, cotton candy, clotted cream, but also a whiff of... let's call it beef jerky. Strange. The flavor is nice, caramelly, rich, thick, with hints of fresh apples and kiwifruit, toffee again, very similar to the famous Ikea DAIM candy bars. A slight kick, a good and solid warmth, and a sugary finish with a hint of liquorice root. Enjoyable. I prefer them without a strong warmth, you feel this one with every sip. It's good, well-layered, certainly not a cheap bottle, but not revolutionary either.

Nice color. Pleasant woody aroma. Light spicy tingle on the palate.
