About this bottle

Established in 1779, Bowmore holds the distinction of being Islay's oldest licensed distillery and one of Scotland's most historic. After several ownership changes, Suntory acquired a 35% stake in 1989 and full ownership in 1994. This particular expression, intended for the Global Travel Market, is non chill-filtered, bottled at cask strength in one-liter containers, and has an alcohol by volume of 57.1%, which corresponds to 100 degrees proof in the British system.
