Booker's 2024-02 "The Beam House Batch" is the second bourbon batch released by Booker's in 2024. The name honors the family home of Jim Beam and Booker Noe, which is currently the residence of 7th generation Master Distiller Fred Noe. This batch was produced on five separate dates and stored in four different warehouses. It was aged for 7 years, 2 months, and 22 days, and then bottled uncut and unfiltered at 124.6 proof (62.3% ABV). It will be available nationwide starting in July 2024. (SRP $99.99)

This Booker's is different from the ones I've had before, which usually lean towards tobacco. This one hits with spice immediately, then mellows into caramel, vanilla, and oak. There's a lot happening in this batch, and I expect more notes to emerge with future pours. If you haven't tried this batch or have been hesitant about Booker's, this one is a must-try.
Glass: Glencairn, rested 15 minutes. Color: Medium amber. Nose: Smells like maple syrup, vanilla, and some dark fruit. Palate: Tastes of cinnamon, baking spice, and oak tannins. Finish: Long and very warm. With a splash: More oak and spice on the front of the tongue. Overall: 9.5/10 - The flavors and finish are outstanding. Even for Booker's, this is exceptional.
Sweetness at the start and hot at the back end, but it fades quickly for a really nice finish. I agree that this has a different flavor profile than many other Booker's releases. Drinks well below its proof and opens up with just a few drops of water.
A reliable choice. This one presents a strong aroma and taste of alcohol. It's good, but the intensity of the alcohol masks some of the developing flavors. Perhaps serving it over ice would help.
Notes of oak, chocolate, and dark berry. Delicious flavors are present.
Silky, nice alcohol content, slides down the throat.
