An elegant, Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey aged at least 4 years in new charred American white oak barrels & finished in a second. It begins with an aromatic scent of rye, oak, herbs & spices; a rich & full development adds notes of honey & vanilla; concluding in a balanced medium-length finish with hints of oak & cinnamon.
Hardly any aroma, just a faint scent of molasses. Lacks complexity, featuring hints of baking spice, cloves, and oak. Not outstanding, but quite average. Bondstone typically offers some good character, but not this time.
