About this bottle
Boann Distillery, a family-owned operation in Co. Meath, Ireland, introduced a set of three single pot still whiskeys in mid-2024. These whiskeys feature a mixed mash bill of Irish-grown ingredients: malted barley, unmalted barley, oats, and rye. The initial maturation period was 3.5 years in American oak oloroso sherry hogsheads, followed by a finishing period in Pedro Ximénez sherry butts, some of which were constructed from chestnut. This whiskey is bottled at 47% ABV, and US availability commences in January 2025 with a SRP of $69.
