It feels strong, but the low proof makes it easy to drink. You get spice, notes of rye bread and baker's yeast, with dark fruits appearing later on. It delivers all the characteristics you'd anticipate from a young, 100% rye whiskey. I'm just uncertain if it's worth a $50 price tag for me personally. 🫤

On the nose, it's citrusy and grassy. The flavor is somewhat bitter and grassy. A little oily. Little burn. The aftertaste is mildly bitter.
Not a lot of flavor. Well balanced but not much depth. More earthy and floral than sweet. A bit of spice in there too
Smooth, mild smoke. A very pleasant oak presence that wasn't overly sweet. The finish was well-executed.
Fruity stone notes, with hardly any traditional rye spice.
Herbal notes with sweet cherry.
