Wheaty and bitter on the nose. Sweet, oily, and rich, with a hint of bitterness. Surprisingly mellow for 100 proof. A pleasant mild heat in the mouth that continues down to the belly. Somewhat bitter aftertaste.

Strangely smells and tastes like a rye. Given it's a single malt, perhaps it's a rye malt. It's not bad, just very unusual.
Dark caramel fruity dark toasty oak char mineral.saline. Mineral and high acidity. Spicy herbal.minty alcoholic.
Strong, clean wheat flavor. Pleasant warmth.
