Carmine Paulsen 4.0

From the initial pour, the aroma brings to mind Red Vines, Werther's Original Chewy Caramels, and Honey-nut Cheerios - very promising! The palate is smooth and sweet without being overwhelming, featuring notes of caramel, raspberry, and honey. Heat and spice build with each sip. The finish is long, semi-sweet, and slightly spicy. This is the third bottle from this brand I've sampled, and each has left a favorable impression.

My initial experience with this distillery, and I'm eager to try more. It begins with a very earthy, malt-forward scent that I find very appealing. Though I only had a small taste, it left me wanting a larger pour.
